You will encounter unbelievably bad play every time you sit down
at a poker table. Now that you understand a little about poker,
you will be able to recognize the utter stupidity of your opponents.
The trick--- and this is important--- is to QUIETLY make a mental
note of their play, and not to openly belittle them.
Many pros have not mastered this essential element of poker.
You gain nothing by flaunting your superior knowledge. You gain
nothing by lashing out at a player when they catch a long-shot to
beat your hand.
In the long run, you will only make money when your opponents make
mistakes. Pointing out these mistakes will only encourage your opponents
to play better. Every time you berate an opponent, you are losing
money.
Be polite, friendly, and maintain your self-control and dignity
at the poker tables. Your wallet will thank you for it.
